“Woodstock”

As a memeber of “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” Bobby performs live with Joe Cocker in this Warner Brothers 1970 motion picture – a film chronicle of the legendary 1969 music festival directed by Michael Wadleigh and released March 26, 1970. This film won an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature Film, and Oscar nominated for best sound and film editing. It also won a National Film Registry Award in 1996.

Bobby performs with Joe Cocker at the Midem Festial in Cannes France and somebody captured it on film! Bobby plays congas and tambourine – January 1970.

Bobby performs live with Joe Cocker on Tour “Feeling Allright”. Listen at the beginning  for Joe who in his introduction states that this song features “our conga player”  (Bobby). Joe asks the crowd to “Give a hand for Bobby, please. A New York Cat as they say”. From then on Bobby Torres was known as Bobby Please.

“Woodstock the Lost Performances”
Bobby performs live with Joe Cocker in this documentary film footage captured by Michael Wadleigh but not included in the original 1970 release of the film. Released in 1990 edited by Howard Silver and produced by the Kaminsky Brothers. A VHS is available on Amazon.com. DVDs may be available at other sites.

“Wheels”, Arthur Hailey’s 10-part series released 1978 and telecast from May 7-15. It starred Rock Hudson, Lee Remick, Blair Brown and others. “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues” Bobby performs with Nick Gefroh’s Latin band in the 1994 Fine Line Features motion picture directed by Gus Van Sant starring Uma Thurman.
