Lockn’ Festival 2015
Bobby with Joe Cocker backstageThe Tedeschi Trucks Band organized a tribute to Joe Cocker at the Lockn’ Festival in Virginia on September 11, 2015.

The Tedeschi Trucks band (made up of highly talented musicians and singers) featured a crushing line up of special guests including members of the original Mad Dogs and Englishmen band with Bobby Torres, Claudia Linnear, Leon Russel, Rita Coolidge Chris Stainton, Bobby Jones,Chuck Blackwell, Pamela Poland, Matthew Moore, Daniel Moore – and our beloved Joe Cocker in spirit. Prior to his passing, Joe collaborated with the Tedeschi Trucks Band to produce this reunion-like concert combining original members of the Mad Dogs and Englishmen band with other great artists. Joe passed before the concert was performed. Fortunately, a decision was made to move ahead with the plans for this event. As a result, a crowd of over 25,000 became part of  Rock’n Roll history on that day.  About the Lockn’ Festival
