Host & owner Andy Diaz of Blackbird Wine features work by painter Arsenio Torres. The work will hang in the shop for about a month. For the opening event on Sunday August 16, music will be provided by a trio version of the Bobby Torres Ensemble featuring Dan Gaynor on piano, Carmelo Torres on drums and Bobby Torres on congas. The Bobby Torres Ensemble includes musical talent of the highest caliber in Portland to explore the many musical inflections of Latin Jazz. The lineup includes: Grant Richards, piano; Renato Caranto, drums; Carmelo Torres, drums and of course, Bobby Torres, congas.

Food available from Havana Cafe, a Cuban restaurant run by chef Pablo Portilla who will be preparing Cuban dishes based on recipes that he learned from his grandmother.
