The 1905 features the Bobby Torres Ensemble Friday October 31, 2025 -1st Show 6:30 PM | 2nd Show 8:30 pm. Both shows permit All Ages to attend. For this special show, Bobby has invited vocalists Barbara Ayers, Mike Winkle and Holly Resnick to present Latinized versions of songs from Steve Wonder, Doobie Brothers, James Taylor and Earth Wind & Fire. The Bobby Torres Ensemble draws upon musical talent of the highest caliber in Portland to explore the many musical inflections of Latin Jazz. Musicians include Bobby Torres, Clay Giberson, Adam Carlson, Anthony Jackson and Quinn Walker.

Bobby’s music is a toe tapping fusion of American and Latin standards arranged with churning Latin grooves richly ornamented with jazz inflections. The Oregonian reported the Bobby Torres Ensemble is “Latin jazz with enough flavor and spice to satisfy your body and soul’s need for rhythmic harmony.” Enjoy a fantastic bite, cocktails and live Latin jazz at The 1905 with the Bobby Torres’ Ensemble.

About The 1905: The 1905 is located in the Mississippi District near the corner of Shaver and Mississippi at 830 N Shaver Street Portland, OR 97227. The intimate setting of the 1905 evolves the art of jazz by engaging artists with the community while celebrating live performance. Since 2016 The 1905 has featured Grammy winners, local legends, young innovators, and student ensembles 7 nights a week for community enjoyment and arts enrichment. The 1905 is a destination of the senses, perfect for those who enjoy a modern twist on the classic idea of a Jazz club. The menu is a fresh take on Italian classics. About Bobby Torres: Bobby Torres on Oregon Art Beat Special.  Bobby is a band leader, musician, record producer, songwriter, and session musician with a 40-year professional history that spans the globe and a lengthy discography. Originally from New York City, Bobby developed his reputation while performing with Joe Cocker at Woodstock, touring with Joe Cocker Mad Dogs & Englishmen, and performing and/or touring or recording with countless other music stars such as Al Jarreau, Jackson Browne, Beach Boys, the Captain & Tennille, and Etta James – to name a few. He has an extensive discography. Bobby Torres Ensemble Trio performs as part of the Lloyd District Lunchbox Concert Series sponsored by American Assets Trust.  The event takes place at Hassalo Plaza located at 700 NE Multnomah. Musicians include: Nick Rolfe on piano, Cameron Morgan on guitar and of course, Bobby Torres on congas. All concerts are open to the public, free and family friendly.
