The 1905 Presents A Tribute to Sade @ The 1905
Apr 2 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Bobby invites you to join him at The 1905 Tribute to Sade. Brian Foxworth and Soundstage Events teamed up to create a memorable-musical experience exploring the music of Sade. Known for her romantic poignant lyrics and pulsating, nearly-hypnotic, soul soothing music, Brian’s band deftly delivers this and more while capturing Sade’s emotional honesty and sophisticated moods. Promising an incredible night of music, Brian has hand picked some of Portland’s best rock & soul musicians for this project. You will recognize renowned bassist Ben Jones, Will Caynon on keys, veteran guitarist Ed West, legendary percussionist Bobby Torres, and Cascade Blues Hall of Fame drummer Brian Foxworth. Discover the vulnerability, melancholic beauty and soulful magic of Sade’s lyrics expressed by breakout vocalist Madison Rose. This event is for the romantics and for the lovers of the fantastic live music scene we have here in Portland. 1st Show 6:30 PM | 2nd Show 8:30 pm. Both shows permit All Ages to attend.

About The 1905:
The 1905 is located in the Mississippi District near the corner of Shaver and Mississippi at 830 N Shaver Street Portland, OR 97227. The intimate setting of the 1905 evolves the art of jazz by engaging artists with the community while celebrating live performance. Since 2016 The 1905 has featured Grammy winners, local legends, young innovators, and student ensembles 7 nights a week for community enjoyment and arts enrichment. The 1905 is a destination of the senses, perfect for those who enjoy a modern twist on the classic idea of a Jazz club. The menu is a fresh take on Italian classics. The 1905 specializes in pizza that is thin and crispy in the Neo-Neapolitan style and is complemented by Italian-inspired small plates, salads, pasta entrees, and more. Whet your whistle with a selection of spirits, beer, and wine that embraces the best that the Northwest and the world have to offer (selected text from The 1905 website).
