Arrivederci’s presents live Latin Jazz featuring the Bobby Torres Ensemble! Music from 7:00-10:00pm. Reflecting the family ambiance of this unique Italian venue, Bobby has gathered a cadre of well known NW Artists to perform for this special evening. Jazz lovers, the seating, that surrounds the bandstand, gets booked out early so call for your reservation today (503) 659-1143. This is a family friendly venue for the entire evening. New! Close circuit screens throughout the venue enable jazz fans to enjoy the company of family and friends while watching and listening to some of the best live jazz in Portland! In addition to the live music, enjoy a selection from Kate and Steve’s menu and wine list. Bobby recommends a glass of pinot noir with the Vegetarian Pizza (ask for it because it is not listed on the menu). Order it Bobby’s heart healthy way (extra veggie) on a fabulous home made gluten free crust and hold the cheese! For your starter, enjoy a small roasted beet and pear salad. Yum! 2022 BIAMP PDX JAZZ FESTIVAL PRESENTS: JULANA TORRES’ LA COLORÁ feat. BOBBY TORRES – Julana Torres, known as “La Colora” is a multifaceted artist gracing the stages of Portland for over 25 years. A classically trained dancer, singer and actor, Julana’s versatility as a performer combined with her Puerto Rican roots engages audiences in an unforgettable experience of rhythm and dance. She now brings her 10-piece band to the Jack London Revue for an explosion of classic Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Pop/Salsa fusion. Her new project “La Colora” includes original songs and highlights the legacy of her percussionist family as she is joined on stage by her father Bobby Torres. Doors open at 7:00 pm – show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets $30.00 ADVANCE GA / $35.00 DOS (21+).
About Bobby Torres: Bobby is a band leader, musician, record producer, songwriter, and session musician with a 40-year professional history that spans the globe and a lengthy discography. Originally from New York City, Bobby developed his reputation while performing with Joe Cocker at Woodstock, touring with Joe Cocker Mad Dogs & Englishmen, and performing and/or touring or recording with countless other music stars such as Al Jarreau, Jackson Browne, Beach Boys, the Captain & Tennille, and Etta James – to name a few. He has an extensive discography. He also performed and toured the globe for 10 years with Tom Jones. Bobby was nominated “Outstanding Percussionist” (a Muddy Waters Award), he was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame and he received The Jazz Hero Award from the Jazz Journalists Association. Music : 6:30 PM. “La Colora” is a new Salsa band attracting Portland’s cream of the crop Salsa musicians. Julana sold out her 2022 PDX Jazz Festival show bringing down the house with her sensational dance moves and the band’s fierce rhythm section. Together, they delivered an explosion of classic Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Pop/Salsa fusion inspiring the audience to dance and sing along. La Colorá specializes in Cuban and Puerto Rican styled Salsa music. They perform original songs as well as covers by artists such as Los Van Van, Bamboleo and Marc Anthony.

Bobby Torres joins Mel Brown on stage at the Jack London Revue. Doors: 7:00 PM. Music starts at 8:00 PM. Mel and Bobby go way back – during their long careers touring on the road, finding themselves in the same town, and – at times – even in the same hotel, Bobby and Mel would hang out together telling jokes, sharing road stories and occasionally playing music together. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear these two musicians performing and having a good time together on stage at the Jack London Revue. The Mel Brown Quartet features Mel Brown on drums, Luis Payne on 3-B Organ, Dan Balmer on guitar and Renato Carranto on Saxophone.
