Live Latin Jazz on stage at the Jack London Revue with The Bobby Torres Ensemble featuring special guest vocalists Margaret Linn and Tyler Conti. These exceptional vocalists will be backed by the full Ensemble featuring, of course, Band Leader Bobby Torres on congas, Master Drummer from Ghana Israel Annoh, Dan Gaynor on piano, Al Criado on Latin Bass, and three sizzling horns including Lars Campbell on trombone, Dick Titterington on trumpet, and Rob Davis on saxophone. The Bobby Torres Ensemble features musical talent of the highest caliber in Portland to explore the many musical inflections of Latin Jazz. Bobby’s music is a toe tapping fusion of American and Latin standards arranged with churning Latin grooves richly ornamented with jazz inflections. The Oregonian describes the Bobby Torres Ensemble as “Latin jazz with enough flavor and spice to satisfy your body and soul’s need for rhythmic harmony.”
