Proficient in many styles, percussionist Bobby Torres has toured with Joe Cocker, Etta James and Tom Jones. He learned the drums in New York City, where he formed the drumming and dancing group Afro-zicians. Now he’s heading a Latin jazz band in Portland, as well as teaching and hosting drumming parties.
